Shirin Farahani

Shirin sees the unseen and shapes new realities. The cosmos is hers, and she can touch the future. She has mastered the five hidden sciences the old masters summed up as “all of it is mystery”: alchemy, astral talismans, the binding of spirits, the letter-magic that reshapes reality, and the art of illusion. At the Tomb of Hafez she reads fal, taking the poet's verses as oracle, and she casts raml figures in sand. As a charm-writer she inscribes amulets of verse, planetary seals and magic squares that turn aside the Evil Eye or bind two hearts together.
